    Learn to make beautiful art out of old books! Students will learn how to use a pattern to fold letters or simple pictures into  the pages of a book. You will create one project from start to finish in this workshop. All materials included.

    Come learn the basic shapes and basic scrolls of quilling. Using strips of paper, we learn how to roll, loop, curl, twist and manipulate them, then glue them together and create holiday greeting cards.

    Experience the art of collage by creating handmade paper from dissolved National Geographic magazines.  Explore National Geographic imagery to craft dynamic collages, experimenting with tearing, layering and embedding techniques.  Develop composition skills and balance color, texture and form in your artwork. All materials included.

    Characters are the lifeblood of fiction. In this workshop, you'll learn about creating interesting, flawed and three dimensional characters who will have your readers invested all the way to the end. Bring your journal, notebook or laptop and 3-5 images of people who intrigue you.

    So you thought Pysanky (Ukranian Easter Eggs) were just for the spring? In this workshop, we will be using Pysanky techniques to create unique holiday ornaments. You will create 2-3 eggs using the traditional wax resist method. All materials included.
