The North Hills Art Center has successfully provided art and arts enrichment to our community for over 60 years. We have not done this alone.

Our mission is made possible by countless volunteer hours. Help us keep this community going! This page is updated with our current volunteer opportunities. If none of our current offerings would be a good fit, consider reaching out - there is a good chance we could use your help!

VOLUNTEER PERKS

For every hour you volunteer or teach, you will receive $1 in our "Art Bucks." Art Bucks can be used toward classes, workshops , or other products offered by the North Hills Art Center! Credits are issued quarterly.

In order to receive your Art Bucks, make sure you report your hours in the volunteer log below.

(Reporting your hours helps us out, too!)

GET INVOLVED!

PAINTING AT VINCENTIAN HOME

Help bring the healing power of art to residents at Vincentian! We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to assist once or twice per month with a painting session. Materials are provided by the art center and the sessions are lead by board member Ruthann Farinacci.

SPRING GARDEN CLEANUP AND PERENNIAL PLANTING

Tuesday, June 17 | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Rain Date: Wednesday, June 18 | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Earn some art bucks while spending time outdoors. Come and help any time between the hours above and stay as long as you can! 

We are also asking for the following donations:

    • Lavender
    • Russian sage
    • Dark colored snapdragons

 

TEACHER'S ASSISTANT FOR HERITAGE WORKSHOPS

We love offering our $5 heritage workshops, and we are thrilled that our community has been taking advantage of them! We are looking for some volunteers who would be willing to lend our instructors a helping hand. No experience necessary. You would be doing a good deed while learning a fun craft!

  • High-quality JPG (scan or photograph) of work
  • Artist name

If you are selected, we will feature your artwork on our website for one month and we will give you a shout-out on social media! No strings attached.

SEEKING DONATIONS

One man's garbage is another man's art supplies! 

  • Candles - We'll take any size, any shape, and any color; as long as they are free of any container.  Drop off candles inside during office hours or leave them on the table outside near the back door any time. Thank you!
