  Relax and transport yourself into the ethereal world of the forest while illustrating some mushrooms! We will be using watercolor and colored pencil on illustration board or watercolor paper. Make room in your schedule for some 'shrooms! Please bring a hard copy of a reference, NOT from your phone. All other materials included. Optionally, students may bring their own supplies.

  Looking for something fantastic to do on a cold autumn day? Slip into the richness of warm pastels and create some fall magic! We will be using basic drawing skills and using pastels on a black background, which creates a beautiful dramatic effect.   We will be focusing on the texture of animals, using acrylic paint on a leather-like canvas. This surface really lends itself to creating wonderful fur and scales and is very easy to do! Great to try on boots, shoes, and purses! All skill levels welcome. Please bring a hard copy of a reference, NOT from your phone. All other materials included.   Join us for some mindful drawing the involves creating structured, repetitive patterns in a Zentangle-inspired form. The "zen" comes from the meditative qualities of the process, while the "tangle" refers to the patterns created using simple, repetitive strokes. All materials included. Optionally, students may bring a scratchboard and stylus to do a reverse image.
